Anaerobic Gel 2680

2680 is mainly used for clearance or transition fits, securing sleeves, pulleys, gears, rotors, repair holes, shaft mating parts, and out-of-tolerance parts, with a maximum filling clearance of 0.25mm. It features high strength, fast curing, and prevents fretting wear and corrosion of metal mating parts. After assembly, the adhesive cures under anaerobic conditions, quickly reaching operational strength. It has relatively high shear strength and prevents loosening and leakage caused by vibration. Excess adhesive outside the joint will not cure and can be wiped off with a cloth. At very low temperatures or with large gaps, the curing speed of 2680 slows down; accelerator 7649 can be used to speed up the curing process, but this will have some impact on the final bond strength.
